Short answer: among five of the best leggings manufacturers in Sialkot, scored on what each one actually publishes, Gymhur ranks #1 with 12 of 14 points for the most complete leggings specification: 200 to 300 GSM fabrics, named compositions, flatlock seams, a standard gusset and an XS to 3XL size run. Mughal Apparel ranks #2 with 11 points and is the pick when certifications matter. Wears For You, our own factory, ranks #3 with 10 points: we have the lowest published minimum at 30 pieces per style, and we publish fewer leggings specifications than the two above us. The rubric, and every point we lose, is shown below.
The global leggings market was valued at $40.51 billion in 2025 and is forecast to reach $58.12 billion by 2031, a 6.85% compound annual growth rate, according to Mordor Intelligence. North America held 35.27% of 2025 value, and Asia-Pacific is the fastest growing region at 7.95% a year. A lot of that demand is made in Sialkot, and a lot of it is ordered by small brands launching their first leggings.
Search for this, though, and you mostly get sportswear lists. Sialkot Made’s top five contains no leggings and no MOQ or lead-time figures. FabKnitters lists six factories and mentions capri leggings once, again with no MOQ or lead times. A ten-company Sialkot directory names leggings for one of them. Even a global top-10 of private label legging makers includes a single Sialkot factory and gives no GSM values or test protocols.
Key points at a glance:
- Five Sialkot factories scored on a published 0 to 2 rubric across seven leggings-specific factors, 14 points maximum
- A factory scores zero on anything it does not publish, even if the capability exists in practice. This measures disclosure, and disclosure is what a buyer can act on before a sales call
- Squat-proof is not a GSM number. Opacity is a property of the stretched fabric in your exact colour, and the three published answers in this category contradict each other
- Published MOQs run from 30 pieces per style to 50 per colour, which is a 5x difference on a three-colour launch
- Wears For You ranks #3, not #1. The four points we lose are named, and so is what would close them
Why “Best Sportswear Manufacturers in Sialkot” Lists Do Not Help You Buy Leggings
Leggings are one of the least forgiving garments in activewear. They are tight, they stretch under load, and every flaw is visible: a see-through seat, a seam that digs in, a waistband that rolls, a gusset that twists. A factory can be excellent at football kits and still be unproven at leggings, which is why a sportswear-wide list tells you almost nothing.
Three things separate a leggings factory from a general sportswear factory: the fabric (composition, weight and stretch), the construction (seams, gusset, waistband), and how opacity is verified. None of the sportswear lists mention any of them.
Squat-Proof Is a Stretched-State Property, Not a GSM Number

Every leggings buyer asks for squat-proof. The factories answer in three different ways.
One Sialkot factory states that 220 GSM and above is “100% squat-proof”. Another recommends a minimum of 200 GSM, “higher for darker colors”. A leggings testing guide from a supplier says the opposite of any single threshold: a 220 GSM fabric “can perform well” only if the knit structure, yarn quality, colour and stretch ratio are right.
All three are partly true, which is the problem. Weight is a starting point. Opacity is decided when the fabric is stretched over a body in a deep squat, in your exact colour. A pale colour at 220 GSM can fail where a dark colour at 200 GSM passes.
The Stretched-State Check

Run this on every leggings sample before you approve bulk. It costs one fit session.
- Use the production colour. Test the exact colourway you will sell, not a swatch in a different shade. Pale colours and mid-tones fail first.
- Test two sizes. Fit at least a small and a large. Fabric thins more on a larger body, so a pass in one size proves nothing about the other.
- Stretch it under bright light. Have the wearer hold a deep squat and a forward fold. Photograph the seat, thighs, back rise and crotch against a contrast layer, in bright light.
- Inspect the gusset and seams in the same posture. Check the gusset lining, the seam placement and whether anything rides or twists.
- Wash it, then repeat. Run the sample through your care instructions and test again. Opacity and recovery can both change after washing.
- Keep the photographs. Attach them to the signed-off sample, and compare every bulk piece to them.
For lab-level checks, the same supplier guide names the standards worth asking a factory about: ASTM D2594 (stretch and growth in knitted fabric), ISO 12945-1 (pilling resistance), AATCC TM61 (colourfastness to laundering) and AATCC TM8 (colour transfer by rubbing). There is no single industry standard for squat-proof itself, which is exactly why the check above matters.
The Legging Quote Card
Get these nine items in writing before you pay for a sample. If a factory cannot answer a row, you have found a gap early.
| Item | What to ask, and the answer to walk away from |
|---|---|
| Fabric composition | Exact fibre percentages, for example 80/20 nylon-spandex. Red flag: “premium stretch fabric”. |
| Fabric weight | A GSM range and tolerance. Red flag: no number at all. |
| Stretch and recovery | Four-way stretch, and recovery after repeated wear. Red flag: “very stretchy”. |
| Opacity method | How it is checked, in which colour, in which pose. Red flag: a GSM claim and nothing else. |
| Seams | Flatlock, coverstitch or seamless, plus needle and thread count. Red flag: “strong stitching”. |
| Gusset | Shape, lining and seam placement. Red flag: not mentioned at all. |
| Waistband | Width, elastic type, internal pocket, rollover resistance. Red flag: “comfortable waistband”. |
| Sizes and grading | The full size run, and how each size is graded. Red flag: only the sample size. |
| Quote basis | Per piece, FOB or DDP, and what is included. Red flag: a bare number. |
How I Scored the Best Leggings Manufacturers in Sialkot
Every factory was scored on the same rubric, using only information published on its own site as of October 2026. If a fact is not published, the factory scores zero on that point, even if the capability exists in practice. Seven factors, two points each, 14 maximum.
This is a disclosure score, not a quality score. That is deliberate: published information is the only thing a buyer can act on before committing to a sales conversation.
| Factor | 0 points | 1 point | 2 points |
|---|---|---|---|
| MOQ | Not stated, or above 50 | 31 to 50 pieces | 30 or fewer per style |
| Fabric disclosure | None for leggings | Fabric types named | Composition percentages and GSM |
| Construction | None stated | One or two of seam, gusset, opacity | All three stated |
| Size range | Not found | Standard run, or extension mentioned | Full run including extended sizes |
| Quality documentation | None | Certifications or an inspection process | Named certifications and inspection standard |
| Timeline and price | Neither | Timeline or price, partial | Sample and bulk times plus a price |
| Track record | None | Years or client count | Years plus clients or countries |
The Scorecard: Best Leggings Manufacturers in Sialkot, Ranked
Factors run down the side and factories across the top, so the whole rubric fits on one screen instead of scrolling sideways.

| Total out of 14 | 12 | 11 | 10 | 4 | 4 |
| Rank | #1 | #2 | #3 | #4 | #5 |
Bromely and X Athletic tie on 4. The tie breaks in favour of the factory that states a minimum order quantity at all.
If a launch brand counts MOQ double, the order does not change: Gymhur 13, Mughal 12, Wears For You 12. The differences come from what each factory publishes, not from how it is weighted.
The Five Factories
#1 Gymhur (Shahabpura, Sialkot), 12 of 14. The most complete leggings page of the five. MOQ is 50 pieces per colour. Fabrics run 200 to 300 GSM in 80/20 nylon-spandex or 85/15 polyester-spandex, with ribbed (200 to 210 GSM) and brushed fleece-lined (250 to 300 GSM) options. Construction is 4-needle, 6-thread flatlock stitching with a diamond or triangle crotch gusset as standard. Sizes run XS to 3XL with extended sizing available. Samples take 10 to 21 days, bulk takes 3 to 4 weeks plus shipping, and the site lists a starting price of $6. Manufacturing since 2021, 15+ countries, 5,000+ pieces monthly capacity, a 3-step QC inspection. Gap: no certifications listed, the minimum is per colour rather than per style, and “220 GSM and above is 100% squat-proof” treats weight as proof.
#2 Mughal Apparel (Daska, Sialkot), 11 of 14. The strongest documentation. MOQ is 50 pieces per style and colour, with sizes mixed freely within a colourway. Its guide lists 80/20 nylon-spandex and 88/12 polyester-spandex, 180 to 260 GSM for nylon blends, a 200 GSM minimum (higher for darker colours), a lined gusset and flatlock or seamless seams. Samples take 10 to 12 business days, production 12 to 20 days after sampling, with a 4-stage AQL 2.5 inspection. Certifications are WRAP, BSCI, Sedex SMETA, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and ISO 9001:2015, and it publishes a price guide of $15 to $25 per unit at 50 pieces and $10 to $18 at 500, with DDP shipping to the US, UK and EU. Gap: no published size range, and its own pages give 25+ years in the main text and 17+ in the footer.
#3 Wears For You (Sialkot), 10 of 14. Our own factory. MOQ is 30 pieces per style, usually split across sizes, the lowest published minimum of the five. Fabrics are described as buttery-soft nylon-spandex, heavier four-way stretch polyester-spandex for squat-proof opacity, ribbed knit and brushed fleece, with recycled polyester on request. Flatlock and coverstitch seaming is standard on compression pieces, and opacity is checked on a physical sample in your exact colour. Standard sizing is XS to XL, extendable. Samples take about 10 days and bulk 3 to 4 weeks. Since 2021, 190+ brands, 17+ countries, replies within 12 hours. Gap: no gusset specification, no price indication, no certifications.
#4 Bromely Sports (Daska Road, Sialkot), 4 of 14. MOQ is 50 units per style with a stated lead time of 4 to 5 weeks. It describes “over 45 years of legacy” and exports to the USA, UK, Europe and Australia. Women’s leggings sit in its product range, with fabrics listed as polyester interlock, spandex blends, dri-fit, mesh, seamless knit and fleece. Gap: no leggings-specific fabric weight, construction or size detail, and its certificates page shows about a dozen logos that are not identified in text.
#5 X Athletic Wear Industries (Church Road, Sialkot), 4 of 14. A yoga and gym wear specialist with 20+ years of experience and 200+ client brands, wholesalers and retailers. It lists WRAP, Sedex and ISO 9001, and claims in-house fabric manufacturing. Fabrics named include polyester, nylon, spandex, rayon and modal. Gap: no MOQ, no sample or bulk timeline, no GSM, no sizes.
Also reviewed, not scored
Lemda Wears could not be read directly because access was blocked, so it is not scored rather than guessed at. Extreme Sportswear states a 50 to 100 piece minimum per style, 7 to 12 working days for sampling and “over 2,000 brands”, but does not state a leggings offering. Maxso Sports states a 50-piece minimum but lists no leggings. SARF Sportswear lists leggings under fitness wear with no MOQ, fabric or lead-time information. Stratton Sports, Habitfit Sports, Cheez Clothing, J. Eastermann and The Chase Fit were not readable at the time of checking, Janletic Sports showed a verification screen, and Sialkot Fitness Wear’s leggings page returned an account-suspended message.

- Best for a long operating history: Bromely Sports, at 45+ years claimed.
- Best for a yoga-wear specialist with certifications: X Athletic Wear.
Where Wears For You Wins, and Why We Rank #3
We run Wears For You, a manufacturer in Sialkot, and we scored the table above with the same rubric for all five.
Where we win. Our minimum is 30 pieces per style, below every other published figure here, and it can usually be split across sizes. We check opacity on a physical sample in your exact chosen colour, and we recommend a heavier weight if it is borderline. Leggings, tops and bras for a matched set are cut from the same dye lot in the same run, so colours stay consistent across the set. You approve a physical sample before bulk starts. Our track record is on our own site: operating since 2021, 190+ brands served, 17+ countries shipped to, replies inside 12 hours.
Where we lose, and we are not going to dress it up. Gymhur and Mughal Apparel publish leggings fabric weights and compositions. We publish composition and weight too, four-way stretch polyester-spandex or nylon-spandex at 75/25 or 80/20 in 220 to 280 GSM, but not per leggings fabric the way Gymhur breaks it down. We do not publish a gusset specification or a price indication, both of which Gymhur and Mughal state. Our standard size run is XS to XL, extendable on request, against Gymhur’s published XS to 3XL. We do not claim certifications, where Mughal Apparel and X Athletic Wear list several.
One more disclosure: leggings and a sports bra are typically quoted as two separate 30-piece minimums, because they are different garments.
Those are four disclosure points, not four capability gaps, which is a real distinction and also not an excuse. If published GSM, certifications or a price guide outweigh everything else for your launch, start with Gymhur or Mughal Apparel. If any of these points matter to you, ask us for the numbers in writing before you pay for a sample.
What Drives the Price of a Legging
Only two of the five factories publish any price. Gymhur lists a starting price of $6. Mughal’s guide shows $15 to $25 per unit at 50 pieces and $10 to $18 at 500. Those two figures are not comparable until you know what sits behind them, because price moves with:
- Fibre. Nylon-spandex costs more than polyester-spandex.
- Weight. More GSM means more yarn per piece.
- Construction. Flatlock and bonded seams, gussets and linings each add operations.
- Trims and extras. Internal pockets, waistband elastic, woven labels and hangtags.
- Decoration. Screen print, heat transfer or embroidery.
- Quote basis. FOB or DDP, and whether the sample cost is included.
We do not publish a per-piece price, because it depends on the fabric, seams and trims in your tech pack. Send the spec and we will quote against it.
Nylon-Spandex or Polyester-Spandex?
Nylon-spandex, commonly 80/20. A softer hand and strong recovery. Mughal’s guide describes it as the better choice for opacity, and Gymhur lists it as a primary blend. It costs more.
Polyester-spandex, commonly 85/15 or 88/12. Lower cost, moisture-wicking and quick-drying, with a slightly drier feel. A heavier weight can reach squat-proof opacity, as our own range shows.
Ribbed and brushed fleece. Ribbed knits suit bike shorts and fitted pieces. Brushed fleece-lined fabrics suit winter leggings.
Ask for a swatch or a sample in both fibres, in your colour, and run the Stretched-State Check on each before choosing.
How to Order Leggings From a Sialkot Factory
- Send your brief. A reference legging or sketch, the Legging Quote Card above, target fabric and target market. If you have no tech pack, our tech pack development service builds one.
- Sample. About 10 days to a first physical sample.
- Run the Stretched-State Check. In your exact colour, in two sizes, stretched and washed. Approve in writing.
- Bulk production. Three to four weeks after sample approval, with in-line quality checks.
- Delivery. Shipped worldwide, with DDP available so duties are handled up front.
Starting from 30 pieces per style keeps a first run small enough to test a fit and a colour before committing capital. Red Flags, Regardless of Rank
Walk away from a factory that quotes squat-proof with no test method. That gives a GSM number but no composition. That will not say whether its MOQ is per style or per colour. That skips a physical sample in your exact colour. That shows no gusset or seam detail. Or whose own website returns an error or a suspended-account page when you go to check it, which happened to several during this research.
The Pattern Worth Naming
Two gaps, not one.
First, every list of Sialkot manufacturers is written for sportswear in general, so a buyer has to translate it into a leggings brief before it is useful.
Second, the factories that do publish leggings detail treat opacity as a weight rule, when it is a stretched-state, exact-colour check. That one distinction separates a legging that passes the squat test from one that gets returned.
The Takeaway
Leggings are won or lost on fabric, construction and a squat test that most factories describe as a weight number. Brief every factory with the Legging Quote Card, run the Stretched-State Check on every sample, and compare MOQ, fabric and timeline in writing. On what each factory publishes today, Gymhur ranks #1, Mughal Apparel #2 and Wears For You #3, and the places each one wins are stated above.

Methodology note: The seven-factor rubric, the Stretched-State Check and the Legging Quote Card are original frameworks built for this comparison. Every factory was scored only on information published on its own site as of October 2026; an unpublished fact scores zero even where the capability may exist, which makes this a disclosure score rather than a quality score. Lemda Wears, Stratton Sports, Habitfit Sports, Cheez Clothing, J. Eastermann and The Chase Fit could not be read directly and are named as unscored rather than estimated. No pricing is claimed for Wears For You and no certification is claimed for Wears For You. Wears For You is disclosed as our own factory and ranks #3 on this rubric, with the places Gymhur and Mughal Apparel beat us stated plainly. Competitor figures change, so verify any factory’s current terms directly before ordering.
